The Paraninfo Hall of the University of Barcelona was the setting for the Graduation Ceremony of the 5th Promotion of the Degree in International Physiotherapy (UdG-UB). More than forty new physiotherapists who began their studies at the Bellvitge Campus in 2019 received their diplomas this Thursday, accrediting them as professionals after four years of intense effort.
The ceremony was opened by the Academic Vice-Dean and Coordinator of the Bellvitge Campus of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Joan M. Nolla. The initial speech gave way to the speeches of the Academic Director of ENTI-UB, Dr. Òscar Garcia and the Director of the Degree in Physiotherapy, Dr. Gerard Muñoz. All of them praised the perseverance, attitude and dedication of this graduating class (2019-2023) and encouraged the new graduates to enter the professional field with the same determination and ambition as they have done during their time at university.
The speeches preceded the presentation of diplomas, which was the most celebrated moment of the day. After the award ceremony, the rector’s delegate for the affiliated centres of the UdG, Pilar Marqués, took the floor and gave the floor again to Dr. Joan M. Nolla to officially close the event before the university hymn, Gaudeamus Igitur, was played in the hall.
