The faculty members of the International Physiotherapy Degree participate in the leading global physiotherapy events. Professor Andrea Fuente attended the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT), which took place in South Africa.
Andrea Fuente collaborated with Dr Ramón Aigüadé, from the University of Lleida, and presented two posters under the heading ‘Myo-aponeurotic diacutaneous fibrolysis. First steps towards an evidence-based practice. A review of the available scientific literature’. They work was a revision of the available scientific literature on Myo-aponeurotic diacutaneous fibrolysis.
The next WCPT conference, one of the most important International events, will take place in Geneva on May 2019.
The fact that our faculty members take part in these events is very instructive for our students, as, thanks to their professors, the students can have up to date knowledge in the debate subjects and latest news from the top researchers in the field of Physiotherapy.
