The course in Physiotherapy is based on a duality between theory and hands-on practice. Theoretical lectures allow the future physiotherapist to obtain the tools for evaluation, therapy and treatment design.
The hands-on lessons aim to put the theoretical principles into practice in a technical way, as well as reproducing a real-life situation at a professional level, so as to familiarize the student with therapeutic and contextual aspects that they will encounter when they enter the labour market. Moreover, the Degree comprises a great deal of hours of clinical placement, developed in different health and social care structures in order to equip the student with an optimal background.
There is individual support, by organizing placement groups with a manageable number of students, to guarantee the best quality and academic monitoring, as well as the scheduling of personal meetings with the tutor and seminars to monitor and optimize the performance of each student throughout the year.
