Mariano Gacto, the academic director of the Degree in International Physiotherapy, has carried out a three-month research stay in Geneva at the general offices of the World Health Organization (WHO), the leading global health agency.
This stay formed part of his postdoctoral studies. Gacto worked as an external consultant on a project that is still being developed, which aims to identify the main trends in functional disability in childhood throughout the world.
Mariano Gacto described his experience to us: “It was incredible, on both a personal and professional level. Working in a world-class organization was an invaluable opportunity”.
“I hope to be able to transmit all the lessons I have learnt to our students”.
