The Health Sciences Campus of the University of Barcelona (UB) aims to promote the results of clinical and biomedical research and, at the same time, to concentrate teaching resources on the field of health. For this reason, this is where the Degree in International Physiotherapy, from the School of New Interactive Technologies (Escola de Noves Tecnologies Interactives – ENTI-UB), and the School of Health and Sport (Escola Universitària de la Salut i l’Esport – EUSES-UdG) and other specialised studies in health such as the Degrees in Dentistry, Nursing and Medicine are taught.
During the Degree in International Physiotherapy you will learn to assess, diagnose, design and develop treatments, with the double added value of studying in English and incorporating new technologies in the field of physiotherapy. You will thus gain detailed knowledge of the latest technological advances applied to the area of health and healthcare: Health 2.0, the new ICT, I’m-health, learning how to integrate all of these innovative technologies into your everyday life. These skills will enable you to develop new technological apps or software applied to this field; thereby becoming a new professional with the ability to add quality to the healthcare service.
Another strong point of this Degree is its teaching staff. There is an excellent teaching staff with years of experience in clinical practice and curricular criteria of academic excellence in research. In addition, in order to offer you a personalised, specialised training, you will have an individualised monitoring and advice on academic aspects and professional guidance. Moreover, with the aim of incorporating the latest developments in the sector, we are committed to your additional training by means of workshops, seminars and courses, carried out by experts from different fields of health.
A final and highly positive aspect of these studies is their clearly international vocation. In this regard, it should be noted that you can carry out your academic internships at prestigious universities from around the world. You will also be able access a host of international exchange programmes at top level universities, as well as having the opportunity to then expand and continue postgraduate studies anywhere in the world.
