Six students from the Physiotherapy Degree at the Bellvitge Campus (Hugo Dumas, Coline Roibet, Guillaume Neulet, Alice Cseko, Léa Hudson and Danielle Borgstrom) and six more from the Salt Campus (Miquel Giraldó, Nuria de Cruz, Luis Lombardo, Albert Taberner, Aleix Hortelano and Hippolyte Huet) have collaborated in this years edition, the 34th, of one of the most important events in the athletic calendar, the Mitja Marató de Granollers, which, this year, more than 10.000 runners took part in.
The EUSES students were supervised by a group of physiotherapists, among them the EUSES Alumni member Fabián Peralta, when applying the muscle recovery techniques (mainly massage and stretching) to the athletes. The physiotherapy service was located inside the Olympic sports hall, very close to the arrival, and many of the runners visited it.
