Master´s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid awarded by Kalu Institute. Graduate in Technical Industrial Engineering – specialization: Chemistry and Environment – at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Health Emergency Technician degree awarded by the Institut d’Estudis de la Salut, Lifesaving and Rescue Technician degree by the Institut Nàutica de Barcelona. BLS and AED Director by Consell Català de Ressuscitació and Instructor by Sociedad Española de Medicina Intensiva, Crítica y Unidades Coronarias (SEMICYUC). Training in Logistic support in emergencies, at the National Civil Protection School.
She has been working as a teacher in the field of health and rescue services for more than 15 years, as well as a professor in “First Aid and Pathologies in Physical Activity and Sport” in the university degree of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (INEFC – Universitat de Barcelona) and in “First Aid” in Health Emergency Technician degree at the Institut Alexandre Satorras.
She has worked in rescue services for over 10 years, most of them as Head of Rescue Units in Barcelona, such as the Red Cross’s Barcelona Rescue Base, and also the Rescue and Lifeguard services. She has also worked as the Spanish Red Cross’s Delegate for International Cooperation in Mozambique, designing and developing the rescue and healthcare system in Maputo city.
She participated as speaker in the III National Congress – I International Congress for security, emergencies and lifeguarding, in Barcelona, with the communication: “Selection criteria for the Rescue and Lifeguard services on the beaches of Barcelona (Seasons 2007-2014)”.
