Risk factors and injury incidence are aspects that are becoming increasingly more important in sport. Furthermore, a large number of people who have suffered an injury do not receive specialized attention that would allow them to recover the capacities they had before suffering such injury. This Master’s Degree aims to offer specific education for professional practice in RTP after sport’s injury, focusing as well on prevention plans, process of specific injuries and control and assessment of the RTP process.
After 7 editions of development and training evolution from a combined academic experience of all involved, the Master’s degree in Readaptation to Physical Activity and Sports Competition incorporates FC Barcelona into it’s list of partners to bring a new profesional training aspect to the Master’s degree.
Thanks to the agreement between EUSES and FCBarcelona, and through the FCB Innovation Hub, the Master’s degree incorporates leading Barça professionals in the field of sports rehabilitation. This agree-ment includes the participation of specialized Club professionals in the Master’s, as well as various visits and guests.
The incorporation of FC Barcelona as a partner is of significant benefit to the Master’s students, given that the agreement between the parties also includes training sessions at the club’s facilities. Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, physiotherapists, doctors and university graduates who wish to get specialized in an emerging area such as return to play (competition) or physical activity (health) after injury.
University degree in Physical Education or Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Physiotherapy or Medicine. Other graduates will be considered.

Each module consists of theoretical and practical content.
Theoretical contents: teacher presentations, analysis and documents discussion and group debates.
Practical contents: analysis of practical cases, problem solving and work elaboration.
Master’s Paper (15 ECTS-375 hours): in order to obtain the master’s degree, the qualification of Apt must be obtained in a research project on a series of cases or in the development of a clinical situation in its phase of return to play.

Note: In the event that presential classes cannot be held on the scheduled dates, for reasons outside the Fundació, the course is prepared to be able to continue classes normally through videoconferencing (through the use of different platforms) and with the support of the UdG virtual teaching classroom.

Preregistration: From May the 1st to July the 14th, 2020.
From the 24th of July, the allocation of places will be confirmed according to the following criteria:
Grades from the academic records of the access studies for the Master’s and valuation of the professional experience and of the continuous education related to the Master’s. In the results evaluation, the two criteria detailed above will be added.
In the case of remaining places, a second registration period will be opened, from July the 27th to September the 10th, 2020, and the allocation of places to the preregistered will be informed on September the 18th, 2020.
If, after these two preiregistration periods, there are still remaining places, the Masters’ governing board reserves the possibility of studying new cases.
Documentation is to be submitted for preregistration (attached to the registration form), before July the 14th.
Registration: to be effective it will be necessary to have made the payment no less than 20 days before the course starts.
